The year 2023 marked a turning point: Bidirectional charging gained momentum in Germany. Our own projects demonstrated the successful functionality of this charging technology today. A total of 681,410 electric cars were registered in 2021. This means that the percentage of new vehicle registrations involving electric cars has more than doubled since 2020. This increase also means that an increasing number of charging facilities, such as wallboxes in the private sector, are being installed and registered with the grid operator.
