Wolfsburg/Munich, 16 October 2015 – As of now, customers who purchase an electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid model from Volkswagen can also enjoy customised charging solutions from The Mobility House. The Mobility House offers Volkswagen customers reliable and affordable package deals that include a comprehensive consulting service.

“The ability to charge their electric vehicle quickly, conveniently and safely at home is crucial to our customers. It is much more convenient and safe to charge the vehicle using a wallbox than it is using a domestic socket,” explains Lutz Kothe, Head of Marketing Germany for the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand. What is more, the solution is available to all owners of e-up! and e-Golf vehicles, as well as the plug-in hybrid models Golf GTE and Passat GTE.

The Mobility House offers Volkswagen customers a package that consists of a wallbox with Home Check and installation service. For the charging station, prices start at €649 including VAT and the service package is available from €279. The actual price is determined by the individual customer’s requirements and the installation conditions on site.
